Why I Created ChiTAG and More…Mary Couzin Interview on Invention Stories on YouTube

0

Mary Couzin is the Founder of the Chicago Toy and Game Group, Toy & Game Innovation Conferences, TAGIE Awards, PlayCHIC, and the Young Inventor Challenge.

Mary grew up in Indiana, where she enjoyed baking in her Easy-Bake Oven and playing with her Lite-Brite. She still enjoys baking today. She believes that the toys and activities we played as children have an impact on our adult lives.

Mary adored school, had a large number of friends, and thoroughly liked her time there. She was “one of those very excellent girls” in high school, serving as class president for two years, Homecoming Queen, and maintaining a high grade point average. Because her father did not feel that girls should be permitted at Notre Dame, Mary chose to go there.

Because she was residing in Chicago at the time, Mary received her MBA from Loyola, which allowed her credit for several Notre Dame coursework. She was able to complete her Master’s degree a year earlier as a result of this.

So, obviously Mary Couzin is Brilliant, and watching this is a wonderful use of your time.
