Cancer and Parkinson’s Disease Doesn’t Stop Inventor was the title of the post we shared last month on InventionStories.com. It was a post like many we’ve shared before… the content of was built around reprinting The Idea behind Rely-A-Light story written by the inventor Russie Coy Jones. We added the title, which I felt summed up her story more accurately…then a few links and published it. What made this post so special, like nothing we’ve shared before was the reaction…

The next step is to create a Facebook post to advertise the post … which shared on The One Pitch with Jared and Karina group. What transpired was an incredibly moving outpouring of love and support for Russie. Comment after comment of caring friends sharing beautiful messages.

It is a story about kindness, courage, and persevence as Russie navigates the patent process enroute to having her Rely A Light being sold worldwide. If you only listen to one podcast this year…make it Episode 73. To listen, please click on the button on the top left.  Thank you and please, tell a friend.

So Russie has overcome some of life’s greatest challanges to become a super-successful inventor. I’m not sure how I found her story, The Idea for Rely A Light on her website, http://www.relyalight.com but I’m glad I did.
