Licensing the Cupcake Rack

As we continue our interview, Liz shares how she would like to license the Cupcake Rack as she has reached out to invention licensing companies only to be rejected. She shared pitching to the dream team on HSN. That’s the (Home Shopping Network) HSN dream team. It’s tough being rejected by QVC and HSN but Liz refuses to get discouraged. Liz likens the invention journey to a roller coaster ride…kind of makes you sick but it’s fun.

Liz is all-in. The first order she placed with her manufacturer was for 3400 Cupcake Racks. (1 full 20-foot container full) Share shares the challenges of finding a manufacturer which for a change has a great outcome. During this time, personal tragedy struck. A second before someone’s living the invention dream and the next…her 5 year old grandson Roy had been assaulted and nearly killed. Liz believes the only reason Roy hadn’t died was due to a miracle from god. It was debilitating but life must go on.
