In the past, she has been the President of The Inventors Network of the Capital Area and currently Treasurer of The Inventors Network of the Capital Area. Dana has been also reatured on 30 seconds of fame on TLC’s My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding. She is a member of Ward 2 Neighborhood Association. Dana has been a board member Community Alternatives to Violence.
In 2012, Dana was the keynote speaker at “Fight 4 She” fundraiser to bring awareness to domestic violence, “If You See Something Say Something”. Advisory Board of Valley College. Dana is a Certified Recovery and Emergency Department Recovery Coach and Peer Specialist. Courtney Laschkewitsch
Courtney is extremely creative, hard-working, and able to license four of her ideas for dorm rooms after being rejected by over 70 companies when she was only 22 years old. She never gave up, which is key because licensing is a numbers game. Courtney was able to license those four ideas by following up and re-submitting them to a company that had previously rejected them. Because of her dedication and enthusiasm, Courtney was a natural fit to manage Inventors Groups of America, where she helps educate other inventors as its Managing Director. April Mitchell
April Mitchell is a proud Military Spouse and mother of 4 children. She has a degree in Education and believes in life long learning. April is an advocate for Military Spouses and enjoyed volunteering in the kids schools and for the USO. She is a 2 times patent owner and has licensed two products in the housewares industry. Currently, the Right Height adjustable over the door hook is sold online at Amazon, Walmart, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond. She is currently working on other products in the Housewares industry as well as in the Toy and Game industry.
April also likes to spend her time teaching about natural health- you can catch some of her videos on youtube. April came to inventRight as a student where she saw success with a licensing deal and has been a coach since the fall of 2019. Brian Halasinski and Kirt Hyust are friends who’ve embraced inventRights 10-step process, and have licensed two ideas within six months. Teamwork…one handles the inventions, the other handle sales.
Warren Wilson
Warren’s most successful invention was BetterBlocks, which became the first building block system to successful compete with Lego, the icon of the toy building block industry. BetterBlocks went on to have retail sales of $45m and sell over 2 million kits. The unique feature was that the blocks would bend to shape curves—they were flexible! BetterBlocks success was the result of combining a strong and innovative idea with a small, highly skilled team.
