I would have to say the hardest part of my journey has been managing myself and my expectations. As an entrepreneur, you are always 100% focused on your business, and the ups and downs can be difficult to maintain your optimism and drive. You always want things to happen faster. And the reality is, things tend to take longer and cost more in the end.
You have to become your own coach, therapist, cheerleader, and learn how to get yourself through the difficult times, the highs and lows. It helps to surround yourself with great people, great business partners, etc., who can support you and help lift you up when you’re down. Being an entrepreneur is the best occupation in the world, but it does come with costs.
I think one of the best byproducts of being an entrepreneur is getting to know who you really are at your core, because it’s all on you to make your dream a reality and you have to go deep inside yourself to make it happen and push through the difficult times, overcome the obstacles, and keep your head screwed on straight. -Becca Brown, Co-founder of Solemates, LLC

Crowdfunding Shout-Outs
Tereson Dupuy, one of Invention Stories original inventors has been busy inventing a sequel to her flagship invention which was a reusable baby diaper called FuzziBunz that rocked the cloth diaper world and gave new parents a modern alternative to disposables. Well, she is doing it again on the other side of the age spectrum with a product for adults called Youni Leakproof Underwear for men and women.
Youni Underwear are a reusable, fashionable, antibacterial and absorbent alternative to the adult disposable diapering products that currently dominate the market yet 80% of people say they don’t wish to use. Tereson would like to give people their quality of life, self esteem and confidence back with Youni Underwear and start normalizing incontinence and taking the shame and stigma out of what is just a normal bodily function.
Tereson is launching her crowdfunding campaign this week at www.ifundwomen.com/projects/youni-underwear and would love to have your support in launching her brand so she can start making the difference in the world that she knows she can.
