LaPorsche Jymi is a social entrepreneur and the Founder/CEO of H&H Headwear. She invented out of a personal need and experience. Her H&H Headwear (short for Healthy Hair Headwear) are satin lined hats are designed to eliminate hair breakage. Her hats are being manufactured locally in Indianapolis, Indiana, creating jobs for teen girls.
So her patent pending hats include a satin lining that preserves the moisture in the hair, decreasing chances of dryness that may result in hat hair or hair loss. LaPorsche increases awareness by focusing on the unique hashtags that make organizations and businesses conveniently accessible on social media. And as mentioned previously, her satin lined hats are locally assembled. Her mission is to create jobs in the community, especially for underprivileged girls.
