Nancy didn’t set out to create an eyeglass repair kit when her screw fell out of her glasses one day. She knows how difficult it is to repalce a glasses hinge screw. It took her about 25 frustrating minutes to replace it when she had an epiphany…
Nancy realized that if the screw was longer, with a smooth feeder end, then it could simply drop into place. Finally no more fiddling around with tiny screws. The Snapit Screw was born! The feeder simply drops into the hinge, then screwed down and the smooth feeder effortlessly snaps off thanks to the patented narrow neck.

My name is Nancy Tedeschi and I am the inventor of the SnapIt Screw, a revolutionary way to repair your broken eyeglasses. When I was a child I was the kid that everyone bullied. I had buck teeth and I was constantly made fun of being called names like Bucky Beaver and Buck Teeth. Somewhere along the way I detached from myself so I didn’t have to feel the pain.
I barely graduated from high school and the counselors told my parents that I just was not a bright child. They gave me an IQ test and my IQ was 92.
