Is StairCase Safety Important to You?

Staircase safety statistics are something that often goes unreported in the UK.  More than 1,000 people die every year after falling down stairs. So stairs are the place where most deaths and serious injuries happen in the home. Elderly people are most at risk of hurting themselves on stairs.  100,000 are treated for injuries every year which is most noteworthy.  So Ruth Amos has invented the StairSteady, a non-motorized, affordable option to combat this.

Manufacturing

The StairSteady was originally manufactured in her hometown of Sheffield.  Ruth moved the manufacturing of the StairSteady to Swansea, Wales. This decision was mainly dues to changes in the StairSteady and some of the capabilities the new manufacturer has.  Ruth received guidance in making this decision. So the StairSteady remains manufactured in the UK.

Staircase Safety

So securing lifelong accommodations and keeping people in their homes longer is important to Ruth.  People should consider the StairSteady option in a much earlier stage of life.  While it’s unfortunate that people tend to find the StairSteady after one has taken a fall and lost mobility.  Finally, Ruth believes the more active a person can stay the better quality of life one will enjoy.

Sales

Ruth Amos enjoys selling the StairSteady because she understands the product completely.  She will explain every manufacturing and material decision.  Ruth realized at an early age the importance of sales and rather enjoys sharing the benefits the StairSteady with customers.
